100 WC:

This week's prompt was about a dramatic weather change. I was focusing on improving punctuation - we are learning how to use semi-colons. I was also trying to use better words. What do you think?

As I was walking down the street I was watching 3 now, as I saw breaking news topic  a dramatic change to the weather was made, it was fatal, Mike Puru the weather man died  in a fight with his partner and fell on the road and a truck ran him over  and  killed him. His life on being on reality shows like the bachelor and 3 news, was over. Telling girls to leave the bachelor mansion was over; 19 I don't know to 2017. One News  quote was "Love a little, laugh a lot, be Mike's partner, drop him".

Flynn's Lions maths

The last couple of weeks I have been working on my Lions Maths, because the Lions were here. The Lions are a rugby team from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are 41 players in the squad and they're playing games all around NZ. This was important to do as we were adding up money and it was really fun to do. The link to my budget is here. 

Speech Board

Every year at Drummond Primary School we do something called Speech board to help are talking skills getting better. We make a google slide about a topic and present it to a lady who assesses us. We also memorize our poem and read 150 words out of a book. We also do an impromptu speech. The levels we are assessed on are ‘Fail’, ‘Pass’, ‘Commended’, ‘Highly Commended’ and ‘Distinction’.

If I was to do Speech board again I would change my topic to something about how machines work and that type mechanical stuff. The challenges I faced in Speech board was having enough information and memorizing my poem so I didn't forget halfway through.

Artificial egg

This week we did the 100 word challenge and had to write about action figures and an egg. today I was working on using ReadWrite carefully to help me edit.

Once upon a time 3 artificial men and an artificial egg came alive. The men worked  for new world and had a mighty job to handle to stop the egg flooding the aisle, they were yelling code red she's going to blow  they were doing all they could to save the egg as it started to leak the guys says sorry it's over, we're done. As the egg starts to leak the look on to the end of their life. As they say clean up on aisle 2 the Eskimos hop back into there bag and leave the egg behind.

About Me

This week  Miss Blair introduced us to a site called Piktochart (an infographic site). What we did on Piktochart was telling someone about yourself. I enjoyed making a Piktochart - I would most certainly do it again. If i did it again I would change some of my wording.
